What is there to fear?

Why, I ask myself,

do the stars make me dream more?

when the origins of it we couldn’t fully understand?

Why, I ask myself,

does the rainbow thrill my soul?

when the rain puts you in the lowest of low?

Call me blind, call me crazy,

You may even call me a nobody.

But oh, forgive me, for i couldn’t forsake this heart that beats—

For art, for words, for colors, for lit.

Notwithstanding the lack of wit,

If it’s love you adhere, what is there to fear?

It’s not the rain that lowers the soul, it’s the storm lovely cause rain on a sunny day is like you, beautiful. But the only thing to fear is fear itself. Romantic questions asked and passionate answers within and it all came down to love, if you understand love then it’s no need to fear it. Apple, this is something special you wrote, I love it.🌹🌹

  4. I feel that the first stanza explains the second, we don’t have the answers because we don’t understand. Do we fear what we don’t understand? Or do we not understand emotions like love and fear?
Another great one from you Apple.

Thank you for the appreciation, Lucas. It explains something deeper than just the words used. Like fearing judgment, fearing failure, fearing the unknown that sometimes obstruct us from doing what we love—like writing. We don’t have the answers to all the questions we have in mind, but we believe anyway, and I do think we don’t need answers all the time. Faith and hope and love will be enough to keep us going ♥️

Your artful soul is evident in this introspection. To dream of mysteries unsolved and give them a story, a life, a reality rich in color, and emotions predicated on a pure love to guide the way is a soul in it’s greatest glory. The world will give us anxiety and pain that our soul shall know the measure of our love. I thought your author’s note was the icing on a grand confection. Those spare and careful words are a mantra for a meaningful life. Write on Apple, and continue to leave us endeared and breathless.

An “artful soul” is by far the best compliment I’ve ever received. Plus, you get me and my thoughts no matter how deep or complicated they were, so how will I not appreciate you? You are exquisitely awesome, Hyp. Thanks a lot!

  13. One of your comments just showed up in my gmail notification, Apple and I noticed you posted a new profile pic.

And the first thought that occurred to me were the lyrics of Chris de Burgh’s song Lady In Red, “The lady in red is dancing 💃🏻 with me…”

And then I thought how lucky for Chris de Burgh. 🙂
